I am a creative person at heart. I have been a graphic designer for almost 20 years. I love to bring things together creatively to tell a story, sell a product, convey a message. John Cowie Photography started when I found myself wanting more from the images I was using in my designs. “Hey, let’s see what I can come up with”. The marriage of design and photography has been an amazing journey. There is a definite advantage when you are the photographer as well as the designer who will be using the images. I find that I’m never content with where I’m at—there’s something in me that is always striving to take my images to a new level.
It is this passion that drives me.
